This past (2013) year at JABMHS over 500 animals have passed through the doors of The James A. Brennan Memorial Humane Society.

We have made a video highlighting some of the wonderful animals that have passed through our doors. Be sure to check out the video below and like our You Tube channel!

Success Stories & Pictures

Here's a picture of our girl Macie heading home with her forever family. Look at that gigantic pittie smile! Best wishes Macie! We will miss you!

Macie st her new home. She looks pretty content.

Outstanding day at Brennan's! Our two longest cat residents were adopted together today! Noelle has been with us since December and Bree since February. Their new Mom welcomed them with open arms and couldn't be happier with her two girls. Bree was even her usual "snarky" self and her Mom still accepted her. Best wishes to all of you!

I just wanted to give an update on how Jerilyn (Now Lola) is doing.. she is now at college being loved by 4 girls! She is thrilled to look out the windows and play all day. She is healthy, very happy and loved. Thank you so much again.

Bella (on the left) went home with her new family tonight. They all look pretty happy. Good luck in your new family Bella!

Shelly and new family.

Arrow going home.

We're so happy! Cammie was adopted today! Good luck in your new family sweet girl.

The great Gatsby went home with his new family today! Best wishes everyone!

Here's a photo of Carini, a rescued Chorkie, we adopted from J. A. Brennan Humane Society. In the first photo Carini's romping playfully in our fenced yard with my son's 10-week-old Great Pyrenees puppy, Tiger. In the second photo she's napping in a sunny spot. Not bad for a little girl who, when she joined our family, was literally terrified of her own shadow and would only cower in a corner, quivering in fear. Although she's still timid, she now loves family life with her human and canine companions!
